David Lawrence Convention Center, November 2008

Dear Artist,

This is an invitation to exhibit.

After much research I have selected  Pittsburgh as one of the few cities that has the potential to support a high quality indoor event. My vision is a relatively small high quality event that will bring out the right people in the community. There will be no application fee but slides are required for promotional purposes and to properly assign booths.

If you have been an exhibitor in the past then you are familiar with the commitment that American Art Marketing has made to provide you with excellent advertising & promotion, a great deal of personal service and reasonable booth fees, along with our efforts to keep our events to around 150-175 exhibitors.

As you well know the Pittsburgh market has grown over the years in its commitment to supporting the arts. Working with the Guild in the development and marketing of the show should give a substantial boost in the launching of our first and most important year. One very important note. I have made arrangements with the union for all of the artists to drive directly to their booths to unload and set up their own work. There will be a number union laborers on hand to assist.

If you are interested in giving a workshop or demonstration, I am offering either a reduced booth fee or no booth fee at all. You can email me at rothbard@warwick.net. Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions.

Sincerely,
