The Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh is a non- profit organization of some 150 artist's and crafters from the western Pennsylvania region. Founded almost 75 years ago, the Guild maintains a goal to promote fine crafts, and serve as a creative reservoir for the exchange of ideas. With an on-going commitment to the advancement of the art & craft industry, we offer many different avenues of opportunity for both new and long time members.

Wood, glass, leather, clay, stone, metal, cloth, jewelry, and mixed media, are among the variety of materials our members work in. We find our roots in a unique diversity of traditional, contemporary, functional and non- functional crafts alike. With emphasis on artistic expression, and an eye towards the future, we continue to grow and expand.

The Craftsmen’s Guild enjoys a long-term relationship with the "Pittsburgh Center for the Arts", and we hold many of our events there. Some of our members staff faculty positions for work- shop classes available through the PCA, and contribute to public out-reach programs. The adjoining Mellon Park is also home to the Guild's annual craft show "A Fair in the Park". This September show is now in almost 40 years of existence, and continues to feature some of the highest quality art & crafts available in the region.
